A free community event, held at the Rokikore Sand Spit, next to the skate park. Karakia, kai, entertainment, followed by a bonfire on the beach.
Supported by the Raglan Community Board, Waikato Tainui and the Raglan Chamber of Commerce.

In celebration of Matariki (Maaori New Year) , Waikato District Libraries are encouraging people to write a short story, poem or design a book cover and go in the draw to win a range of prizes.

Heading into Music month, Rootz Konekt is a 10 piece roots reggae band from Hamilton. Rootz Konekt will be touring to promote their first album “Lockin & Loadin.
Rootz Konekt have toured the North Island extensively promoting their own music as well as supporting other big bands such as Katchafire, 1814, Tasty Brown, Paua, Rebel Souljahz, J Boog and the reknown Third World.
Supporting Rootz Konekt on this tour will be Jah Red Lion who will share his flavour of reggae dancehall music.
